Casual and permit parking

Accepted via the CellOPark pay-by-plate app throughout weekdays and weekends, with short stay bays near the Barker Street entrance.

Pedestrian-first upgrades

End-of-trip focus

Showers, lockers, and secure bike racks support campus commuters while solar panels lower the car park’s footprint.

Campus safety + visibility

Planned transformation

An inclusive, sustainable upgrade

The campus strategy keeps visitors within a safe, central parking hub while taking pressure off surrounding streets. The proposed 8-storey uplift stacks 1,400 vehicle spaces with 130 bicycle slots, rooftop solar, and new end-of-trip amenities for showers and lockers. Infrastructure upgrades improve lighting, signage, and the gateway to the Barker Street student precinct.

2024 Capacity Improvements

Certus Projects delivered upgraded surface finishes and installed ~520 extra spaces to relieve peak demand during the school year.

Early 2026 SSDAs
